Student Barber Client Payment Policy

Please fill out the following form.

1. Purpose

• This policy outlines the guidelines for student barbers performing services on clients and the process for handling payments in compliance with TDLR regulations.

2. Payment Guidelines

• Student Barbers enrolled at Kut N Edge MR Barber School cannot directly receive payment for services rendered.

• Clients may be charged a service fee, which is collected and managed by the school.

• All fees are non-refundable and help cover the cost of materials, equipment, and instructional resources.

• Students may not solicit tips or additional compensation from clients.

3. Compliance with Texas Regulations

• All services performed by students must be supervised by licensed instructors in accordance with Texas Administrative Code Chapter 83.

• Payment collection must follow ethical practices and comply with state licensing guidelines.

• Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or dismissal from the program.

  
  

4. Client Acknowledgment

• Prior to receiving services, clients must sign a Service Agreement stating they understand the payment structure and that services are performed by students under supervision.

  
  

5. Review & Amendments

• This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure compliance with TDLR updates. Amendments will be communicated to students and clients accordingly.
